Montenegro Made Easy was inspired by a life-changing journey. What began as a holiday became the start of a new chapter, revealing a country of breathtaking landscapes, welcoming people and hidden treasures.
I set this up to encourage others to explore beyond the guidebooks, support local communities, and show that travel can inspire confidence, connection and new beginnings.
What I actually do
Montenegro Made Easy is a travel information, marketing and referral service. I am not a tour operator or a travel agent — your booking is made directly with the accommodation owner or the operator running your excursion. What I bring is the local knowledge, the vetting, and someone in your corner when something needs sorting out.
Anyone who knows me knows I am passionate about small businesses
Over the years I have loved helping friends get their start-ups off the ground. I enjoy seeing the spark in someone’s eyes as their idea starts to take shape, and I intend to carry on doing it. It is just very exciting to finally have a project of my own.
My hope is that Montenegro Made Easy grows into something that genuinely helps people discover one of Europe’s hidden gems, while making travel feel more accessible and personal. I will be using this business to help as many other small businesses as I can along the way, and I plan to donate a percentage of the profits from my upcoming book to ADHD UK, because ADHD has shaped so much of my own path.
As a mum, I hope this shows my children and grandchildren that it is never too late to follow your dreams, work hard and build something meaningful.
Why Montenegro
It is one of the most special places I have ever visited, and it is still an up-and-coming destination — which makes now such an exciting time to discover it. If you visit before the crowds arrive, I think you will understand exactly why I fell in love with it.
Don’t Just Take My Word For It
I run an ongoing campaign inviting local businesses, residents and visitors to share their own experiences and recommendations. If you have a Montenegro story, I would love to hear it.
