A UNESCO World Heritage Site nestled between towering mountains and the sparkling Adriatic Sea. Kotor is history, culture and natural beauty like no other.
Walk the walls
The city walls climb 1,350 steps up the mountainside to the fortress of St John. It is a proper climb — take water, go early or late, and stop often, because the view gets better with every turn.
Getting lost is the point
The old town is a maze of narrow cobblestone streets, hidden squares and ancient churches. There is no wrong turn.
